This multi-screen video installation in the Oakland Museum of California’s new Natural Sciences gallery explores controversial issues of private and public land ownership.
In collaboration with OMCA, Earprint explored The Sutter Buttes and conducted multiple interviews with stakeholders in the area. The exhibit presents these stories in an immersive experience that allows the various points of view to be in conversation with each other.
The stories are presented in a comfortable setting where visitors can relax on couches and bean bags and experience the full range of voices from the Sutter Buttes community. On an adjoining wall, visitors can leave their own comments on a post-it board.
