Who are we?
C Jason Reinier, Executive Director, is an award-winning sound designer, musician, composer, and radio producer. Catherine Girardeau, Producer, is a writer, editor, voiceover director, and audio producer. Earprint Productions' work has been featured by the The Exploratorium, The Magic Theater, National Public Radio's All Things Considered, WDR radio in Germany, KPFA radio, The Oakland Museum, the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Morgan Interactive, and many others.
Earprint Productions produces a weekly radio show for KPFA-FM, Earprints on the Air, featuring sound portraits, soundscapes and audio armchair travel. Reinier's Day of Sound, a "day in the life" of sounds around the world, was aired internationally, including on National Public Radios' All Things Considered. Reinier's sound design and performance in The Magic Theater's production of The Joy of Going Somewhere Definite won an outstanding achievement award from The Bay Area Theater Critics Circle in 1997. Girardeau's writing, reporting and audio work have appeared on German radio; at The Cleveland Museum of Art; the Oakland Museum; the San Jose Mercury News' Mercury Center web site; the Oregon Magazine, Bay City News Service, The Nature Company and the Daily Californian. She received a reporting award from the Center for Foreign Journalists in 1992.
